Hello Everyone, my name is Kimberly Hill. I am Mrs. Elite New York American Dream 2018. On my 50th Birthday I will be competing in Orlando /Disney Springs for the 2018 American Dream National Title in the Elite Division.
My proudest accomplishment is losing 50 pounds. My journey in my weight loss taught me self-control, positive thinking, patience. How to be consistent and persistent. It has also taught me that you can absolutely do anything once you put your mind to it. It shaped me into the strong, confident woman that I am today!
I was born in 1968 in Upstate New York. I graduated in 1987 and went to one year of college and found out that I was expecting my first child. I never pursued in furthering my education. I worked at various jobs to make ends meet as a single parent it was hard, but I never gave up. I met my forever husband in 2000 and we got married in 2002 and we had two beautiful twins. I love to help others and I am very motivated and self-driven. My passion is health and fitness. Most of my life I was overweight, and I finally decided that I was made for more. I have since lost 50 pounds and I love my Lifestyle that I currently lead. I hope to help others with weight loss as I know how real the struggle is. I not only feel better, but I look younger because of my healthy lifestyle I live now.
I decided it is NEVER too late to do things that you want to accomplish in life. At age 49 I enrolled in the American Dream Pageant to get my platform of living healthy out on a broader scale in hopes to help others with their weight loss journey. I am volunteering at The Rescue Mission and Meals on Wheels as I love to volunteer my time to help others. I love to encourage people to live their lives to the fullest being strong and healthy. The last 5 years has been a roller coaster of emotions with family having health issues and I did not want to be another statistic. My passion has taught me that being consistent does pay off and I hope to inspire others to take better care of their well-being. We need to treat our bodies like a shrine!
